Emerald makes pancakes!

With the serious situation that is COVID-19, we at Emerald want to be sensitive to what’s happening in our neighborhood, while also being careful to protect the livelihoods of our employees and patients from any risks of infection.

For us, this also means helping those who have been uniquely affected by the enforced lockdown and self-isolation: the elderly in care homes. For those where visits and social connections with family and friends are highly-cherished and sometimes, crucial.

In an effort to support them, we wanted to offer the limited social connection we could, by spending our morning making 180 pancakes! A simple lunch to hopefully, put a smile on the faces of those at Evean Henriëtte Roland Holst.

We hope you enjoyed the pancakes as much as we enjoyed flipping them!
